Security needs are also unique for public authorities:
- Numerous sites to equip and secure, often far apart, which complicates surveillance, and very different types: from the city or municipality’s security control room to administrative or technical buildings, and even performance venues, museums, schools and sports halls, etc.
- The interoperability required with other IT and technical systems, such as interfacing access control with key cabinets or time management / scheduling solutions, etc.
- Major architectural constraints with buildings sometimes classified as historical monuments requiring securing.
